CNC Machine Operator / Sheetmetal Worker

Position Overview

We have numerous roles for qualified Machine Operators and Sheetmetal Workers for our workshop based in Hornsby. The successful applicants will fabricate and operate new CNC Machinery producing building systems for residential and commercial projects across Australia. 

The main tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Reading and interpreting shop drawings.
  • Fabrication and assembly of light gauge materials such as zinc, copper, aluminium and stainless steel.
  • Operate sheetmetal machinery such as guillotines, folders, benders, CNC Laser + Turret machines and plant equipment.

 

Requirements

  • Ability and experience operating machinery such as CNC, Brake Press, and Manual Folders.
  • Completed trade certificate in sheetmetal (light fabrication) or relevant experience in general steel fabrication.
  • Light gauge steel fabrication.
  • Valid Drivers licence.
  • Forklift Licence (preferred, but not essential).
  • Strong in following WHSE practices
